Summary

A great game turned pandemonium. Poor defense seemed to be the star of this match, with 1-2 man rushes getting past the opposing defense many times and grabbing flags. The first attack I saw came from Limitless, with SockMonkeyRiotgrabbing Epi’s three flags but dieing to a rocket turret. Strong attacks shown by Epi, with one breaking down the LL defense and knocking out a few turrets. LL quickly repelled them back and brought their base back to full strength. Epi’s attacks seem to be doing more damage than LL’s attacks.

Soon comes the 15 minute mark, and points begin. darkfirefox starts it off by grabbing three flags and dies, putting LL up 0-1.  Hells. returns the favor by grabbing four flags for Epi, evening the score to 1-1.  SockMonkeyRiot and darkfirefox both pick up flags, putting LL back on top, 1-2. Astute grabs a few flags for Epi, again tying the score, 2-2. Astute once again grabs LL’s flags; 3-2 Epi.  SockMonkeyRiotrushes and gets Epi’s flags to tie the score at 3-3. This is the last point LL gets for the evening, with Assault Nova Tygerpicking up LL’s four flags. With no TD at the LL base, ANT is summoned out to safety. There were many aborts when all flags were taken by Epi. Most notably, SockMonkeyRiotdelayed the Epidemic win many times. How many times? Well the final score ended up being 21-3. Do the math 🙂

This was a great match to watch. Limitless showed alot of heart tonight, aborting around 17 times. GG both squads!
