[Disclaimer: I was in lala land and didn’t realize the game was on, therefore the first 5 minutes aren’t in the recording…]
It’s time to go to war!
Apoc begins the match by heading west via north and mid passages. Swinging southeast, they march into the southern rocks. For the first time in the season Apollo, Apoc captain, is in the starting line-up as medic over usual support Lana Del Rey.
Seven minutes and no shots fired, but after having combed the map, BBB find themselves exchanging gunfire with Apoc in the southern rocks at F6.
In the first battle of the match Zeus draws first blood at the expensive of Apollo.
Having lost their medic—Shasta, Tactical and noskeeper—retreat into the rocks after receiving quite a bit of damage.
Unfortunately for noskeeper, the chase is on and 5 of 7 BBB members are on his tail. Like a graceful ballerina he pirouettes in the thick of enemy fire from G7 to J5 before being gunned down at the snout of Pig Rock. He was one cunt hair away from Stavudine, who no doubt button-mashed the medikit, but no success.
2:45 – Close combat commences at J5 with Apoc down a man. Evening the odds by taking out God, medics Apollo and Stavudine perish, which leaves Apoc at the mercy of BBB, but none is shown.
BBB head back toward their side of the map and out of reach of the approaching enemy.

Right away there is contact at south mid. After a considerable amount of dodging from both sides, the shooting stops.
[Queue spaghetti western music]
A stand off occurs because it would seem both teams want to bait their enemy to create an angle. Apollo and Mizzouse hold G5 at south mid exit while Zeus, hack and envy idle at F5.
Becoming the aggressors Apoc pushes out from south rocks, but leave noskeeper a lone so BBB pushes over the top and take him out. Tactical and Stavudine are unable to swing back around in time and once again Stavudine has his teammate’s red mist across his face.
Not watching their flank, Tactical and Stavudine are taken out of battle by a perfectly placed LAW by THE MOUNTAIN.
Converging upon remaining Apoc members Mizzouse, GUERILLA and Shasta, BBB leave their corpses amongst the dead trees of G6.
Finding themselves down by 12, Apoc regroups at mid and are desperately seeking Susan, I mean BBB.
Playing the hiding game, BBB huddle at K2 in the upper right hand corner of the Apoc base. Before the 2 minute camp timer can expire BBB move in unison down the east end of Apoc base. Unnoticed they make there way into the garage at K4.
Having down a complete revolution of the map, Apoc are far west at C6 by the BBB base.

Expressing their dissatisfaction with BBB’s hiding Apoc members take to the chat

Although rule 7.8 states that camp timer is 2 minutes during a match and 1 minute with less than 5 minutes of gameplay remaining,(8:40 left at this point) referee Lemon encourages BBB movement to which they oblige.
With 8 minutes remaining battles erupts at upper mid. Aware of the time, Apoc push aggressively with hopes of increasing their kill count.
With two members of BBB taken out, they retreat south by C3 where Apoc fall to their numbers.
With 4 minutes left we have our first substitution, BBB take out God for Manifest Destiny.
Playing it smart, BBB don’t stray far from their base. They know Apoc has to come to them if they want to attempt a catch-up. They meet at E6 and BBB plays conservative and holds their ground.
1:39 left in the match and Apoc captain Apollo acknowledges the BBB victory with a simple, “gg.”
Back to the D5 action, most of Apoc has fallen except for Tactical who begins to hightail it through the small building, but one pesky medic does not plan on letting him get away…

Last death honors go to Tactical.
Time is dwindling and Apoc spot an enemy in Zeus at G7 rocks, but he’s saved by the bell as the timer runs out.
BBB is victorious, final score 26-11
