And the fighting begins!
The match started out quickly, as both teams sent in attacks under the 3 minute mark. The attacks weren’t too successful, and both teams rebounded quickly. Epi seemed a little slower with their recuperation, and their second offensive wave lacked motivation. The second wave of BDS’s assault set the mood for the match, as it was just slightly more effective than Epi’s. These slight advantages would prove to be of utmost importance for the victor.
Epidemic’s offense seemed suicidal, as the infantries were rushing with no heavy support, missing with their nades, and advancing against odds that needed evening beforehand. BDS’s offense was generally doing the same, but as FlyMolo subbed in as a second medic, Epi’s fate was sealed. In concept, the secondary medic could be a force to be reckoned with, being able to provide heals, and tranqs on the front line, while the regular medic can only heal from a distance. However, in this instance all of molo’s tranqs were repulsed before they even hit the offensive members of BDS. Soon after this change BDS pushed back to the flag room and wrecked an MG, but they were unable to do any harsh damage.
BDS makes one final push, in which Photo gets Epi’s single flag, and escapes. Epi tries to abort, but fails.
MVP – Photo, with 21 kills, 6 deaths, and a single flag capture.
