Review: 
The final game of Season3, BDS vs Martyr, began slowly, with the teams unspecced for about 20 mintues before the game started, driving the spectators into a state of unrest. After a long wait, the game finally began, as BDS took A7 with 3 flags and Martyr D7 with 4 flags. All of the flags were taken almost immediately, and BDS launched the first attack. They tried to push with infantries, while their infiltrator was waiting patiently in the A7 flag room for his flag to drop. Their attack was unsuccesful, as Martyr had many home because the game had just began. Their infiltrator, LiNgo, quickly got onto offense as his flag dropped, and tried to sneak an attack into the bottom of D7. A few people attached, only to be killed off by the turrets. 

Martyr next tried a 6man attack, but they were flanked and killed off rather quickly. Seifer, BDS’s JT, was attempting to flag persistently, but he could not quite make it out with the flags, due to strong defense mostly by Armageddon-Fang with his CAW. John.bat managed to grab 2 of BDS’s flags on a strong Martyr push in A7, but he was killed off by the turrets. Seifer grabbed all 4 of Martyr’s flags on a BDS swing, but was tranqed by Rider.on his way out of the flag room. 

Both squads next launched simulataneous attacks, with BDS being pushed out of the Martyr base, while Martyr’s offense quickly advanced to the BDS turrets, only to be flanked by BDS. Martyr regrouped and pushed to the rets once again, only to be flanked by BDS. The BDS offense was being held at D3 often, with Seifer slipping through only to be caught by Armageddon-Fang‘s CAW. 

After quite a few tries, Martyr pushed to the BDS rets once again, and completely annihilated them, only leaving 1 red MG left. They weren’t able to capitalize, and Simile rebuilt the turrets quickly. Martyr attempted a follow-up, and managed to grab flags on multiple occasions, but were never succesful in escaping. 

Both squads were unsuccesful on offense for the next couple of tries, but BDS finally got it going about 10 minutes later, with a 7man push which led them to the Martyr turrets. Soldier was able to grab all 4 flags, only to be killed off by the RT. BDS quickly followed up their attack, only to be flanked by Martyr. Once BDS got back on offense, they did some major damage to the enemy turrets, but Smile~! quickly repaired them. 

Martyr’s next attack was a deep blink in A7 which looked very strong, but was quickly killed off by the turrets and support from the BDS defense. NeoNirvana was subbed out for lagging, and emp was brought in to replace the D inf. 

BDS and Martyr went unsuccesful for a few more runs, leading up to simultaneous attacks where both Seifer and Martyr were able to steal the flags, only to be killed by the Martyr and BDS defenses respectively. On BDS’s next attack, Seifer finally was finally able to pilfer the flags from the Martyr base, and was summoned home to A7. 

On a bad flag drop by BDS, CalNad was able to capitalize with an abort by grabbing it as the victory timer was ticking down. In what seemed to be a bad move, Frankypicked up the easy flag early in the countdown, and was killed by BDS’s medic Thor+. This was considered a bad move because they could have used the easy flag in the future as a last second abort if they were in trouble, whereas now it was back in a safe place in the A7 flag room. When all hope seemed lost, the Martyr girls, Martyrand Smile~!, both board rushed together into the A7 flag room and picked up 5 flags between them. Martyr also grabbed the repulsor coils lying on the ground that LiNgohad been using to defend. Martyr was able to abort again, but killed quickly by Seifer‘s DeathBoard Slash. 

After Seifer‘s kill, a constant stream of aborts was led by Martyr, Armageddon-Fang, CalNad, and John.bat. In the end, CalNad was left with 6 flags, and Armageddon-Fang with 1. They were quickly summoned to C5, and then again to J4. It looked like the game was over, but Simile quickly got to J4, where Thor+ led the way for the BDS abort as the timer was was ticking down. 

There was chaos in the J4 flag room from here, and after minutes of nade spam, BDS came out with all 7 flags, and quickly moved to C5 where they were able to hold out due to LiNgo‘s strong defense at the first narrow opening at E5.
