It’s time to go to war!

idc begin from C5 and immediately make their way toward the center of the map.

Allegiance exit their base at J2 and take the southern route along the border of the map. Having reached the bottom of the map they take their positions at J6.

Proceeding with caution, idc members Dark Sol, Fairfax and kaga come over the top of the J4 rock. Enemy sighted! Allegiance are at I5 waiting and the assault rifle streams begin.

A very temporary calm overcomes J4, but Ice, K, and lyric initiate the battle by rounding the corner of J4 rock. They manage to take out kaga who is riding the wall, but in the process lose lyric to a Cage LAW.

Cage, Dark Sol and Fairfax fall back south to I5 where they’re immediate throw into battle with other members of Allegiance.

I5 erupts into frenzy when bullets are coming from almost every direction. Both squads tally a few kills and in the middle of it all, Fairfax catches a “Hail Mary” grenade from Sabotage.

The battle clears and Allegiance regroup at their base. Like at the beginning of the match they head south and position at J5.

idc are right on the other side of the rock at I4.

Showing that they’re here to fight Allegiance open fire on I5, but neither squad push inward.

Once again J4 is a battleground.  Coming from the north, idc out angles Allegiance and drop LAWs courtesy of Leak and Cage. Showing their synchronicity, they almost hit the exact same spot on that poor rock.

After winning the fight idc recede into the map and make their way north throw G4.

Perhaps going over strategy, Allegiance spends the next minute standing around their dropship.

Looking for the enemy, idc comb around the E2 building.

8:30 Riley is subbed out for TACOstand.

[Meanwhile in spec]

Riley – I’m out of town I can’t foucus on this shit rn lol

With their sub in Allegiance take the ol faithful route south and position once again at J6. With no idea what is waiting they push through to I6 by the weeds.

idc is there in two groups at G4 and G6 where r is standing in the open as bait.

Joe, gary, TACOstand and Assassin take refuge in the weeds while the rest of the squad continue to push west toward H6 where they have contact with idc. They immediate fall back south beneath the weeds.

10 Minute Score Check – idc up 17-4

Like Allegiance expected, idc came around to I6 where the weeds are, but execute their plan too soon. Rather than letting idc members tg, manu and r come east above and maybe even passed the weeds, the crew inside pokes out then goes back into the weeds. All they really did is give away their position and lose TACOstand in the process because he is the only player that commits to the play.

The Allegiances members who were north fall to idc, but K is able to take out kaga one on one before meeting his demise.

Luckily gary Joe and Assassin are able to escape the weeds even while under heavy fire.

idc push northeast to take out some stragglers, but don’t spend too much time at Allegiance rape lines. They fall south after clearing the field.

Battle erupts at I4. Allegiance is clumped together while facing idc members south and east of them. They decide to push east and overpower idc seven to four.

Perhaps a little overzealous, Allegiance pushes aggressively into I5, which leaves them in the open. Although they have the north angle, idc has coverage so they have an advantage.

In an attempt to draw the enemy away from his squad mates, Joe falls north, but then quickly falls to the ground after a LAW from Cage greets him.

Allegiance regroup around I5 while idc are running south from F4.

Allegiance are spotted at a time they didn’t expect to be spotted. They try to fall back, but members gary sabotage and K are taken out.

idc chase their enemy to K5, but come under fire by a series of LAWs, one of which blow up manu.

20 Minute Score Check – idc up 45-9

idc once again chase Allegiance to their rape lines before falling south just like before.

absoloute zero ends Leak’s kill streak with a LAW that sends shrapnel up his ass. This kill finally puts Allegiance in the double digits.

Allegiance are able to rack up a few more kills while also losing some of their own. They fall back from E5, but idc is on their tail.

Five Allegiance members group on the top corner of Tucker’s Cave (whoever the fuck that is) and luckily, idc member Leak gives away his position with a grenade so when he comes to the top he’s swarmed by the enemy and left on the ground.

From there the battle spreads and Allegiance once again are divided and conquered. In an amazing display of focus fire, idc members Cage, manu and kaga send overlapping streams at enemy medic Assassin who is unable to survive the onslaught.

Grouping at the J4 rock, Allegiance descends upon I5. Cage and manu are grouped on the small square building and the Allegiance horde nearly passes them. Sabotage and gary are able to get off LAWS in time that leave idc blood everywhere.

One of the final battles ignites at G6 with the two trees as the no man’s land. While no group has the right angle it becomes a stalemate til more idc members arrive from KR.

Allegiance falls north to their base to take advantage of their respawns. TACOstand has another idea though. He knows he is going to die so he stops to LAW Cage before meeting his own demise.

idc are victorious 77-24

RANKS

First – Kaga 15-3
Second – Leak 12-4
Third – tg 11-0

MVP is Leak

Post Match Interview

Dark Sol

Abbath – idc pretty much ran away with this match and at one point it didn’t look like Allegiance was going to break double-digit kills. Did you have any concerns going into this match?

Dark Sol – No, Allegiance didn’t concern us. We thought that Kippa might try to keep the score low and choose some ambush spots to get the jump on us, but in the end he seemed to keep going south.

Abbath – Did you lead? If so did you do anything different than in previous matches?

Dark Sol – Leo (Leak) led as he usually does for us. He always does a fantastic job, as long as me, Manu, and others are vocal.

Abbath – Do you think Allegiance suffered from not having their captain Riley in the whole match?

Dark Sol – I can’t speak to how their team operates, and the effect that Riley has upon them, but I don’t think it would’ve made much of a difference. I was kind of disappointed that the match wasn’t closer or more exciting, but I’m happy with how well we played.

Abbath – If you weren’t worried about Allegiance, is there any squad that might stand in the way of becoming season 14 champions?

Dark Sol – Despite idc being undefeated, I think any one of the top 4 squads could win this season. Both BBB and Waduhek gave us trouble when we played them (and Waduhek didn’t even have Sol). Sov is the real threat with his PhD in Indian Micromanaging and Leading, and Sol is a force of nature that can turn tide of a losing battle or open up a stalemate. Without those two, Waduhek wouldn’t be a concern. BBB seems to be a bit more well-rounded and they’re playing well together right now, so I’m expecting a tough fight from them. We haven’t played Apoc yet, but from watching their matches – they could be playing a lot better than they have been. Each week is a chance to change things around and playoffs are a different beast altogether, so we won’t underestimate them. Looking forward to seeing what they have in store this Sunday.

Riley

I sent him some questions, but because he was out of town I received no answer.
