Match Reports: Martyr over Black Dragon Society
It was a grueling 56 minute battle versus arguably the best squad in PL history and a squad returning to the competitve level after a season off
BDS captured 6 out of the 7 flags at the start leaving Martyr with only 1. Zyrex captured that 1 flag 4 minutes in the match, which forced martyr to use their 10 man. Their 10 man proved too powerful for BDS and they recovered all of the flags.
Martyr then tried for the double move and were successful, except they had some bad drops which gave LiNgo the chance to abort a street flag.
The rest of the game Martyr used F1. BDS’s O proved stronger than Martyr’s D and gained all 7 flags again.
Which once again forced martyr to go on the 10 man. Yes, once again, Martyr’s 10 man proved overpowering to BDS and Martyr captured all 7 flags and move their base to F7.
BDS, with a bad drop outside the A7 home, gave JDAM the chance to grab it. Once again, Martyr has all 7 flags. LiNgo mangaged to get very deep during the 10 man attack but BDS couldn’t abort. Martyr ended up eliminating all BDS people in F7, thus securing the Io Inivitational Championship.
