idc defeats Apocalypse in the playoffs 41-24
Waduhek defeats Baby Back Bitches in the playoffs 26-18
idc defeats Waduhek in pre-match duels 3-1
———-It’s time to go to war!———-
idc begin the match as you’d expect by heading east directly into south rocks. They position themselves on the east end of the rocks and wait for the enemy.
Knowing idc would be taking the south rocks, Waduhek head west toward the alley between mid and schoolhouse. They continue through to C4 where they set up their angles for battle.
After a minute idc decide to push east, but turn back around once reaching south of pig rock. Continuing in the direction of their base, its at E6 plateau where enemy is sighted and we have our first battle.
Moments into the battle idc members Cage and Leak are able to take out key enemies Sol and Sov. This does not bode well for Waduhek, so they fall back, probably because someone is screaming on their voice channel.
Deciding not to chase them, idc run south and position once again at the south rocks.
Waduhek position themselves at east end of south rocks while Sov goes solo into east-mid.
Realizing they’re sitting in a stalemate, Leak pulls his troops back to the west side of long rock. Seconds later Waduhek is there chucking grenades, but idc is ready for the. Kevin falls immediately to Leak.
idc pushes in then Waduhek pushes back. In the rocks both squads seem evenly matched.
As Sol, Iron and Sov head west from above the south rocks, idc members Fausto, tg and Fairfax set up an ambush. It proves unsuccessful when tg dies forcing his squad mates to retreat into the rocks. Sov has his group push in because he also has a group south coming around to pinch the enemy. Problem is Sol falls to a LAW from Trisance.
Once again idc resets to west of long rock before pushing back into the rocks. Both squads have the same idea by heading through the deep south path, but idc is ready and Waduhek are caught off guard. Kevin, who looks like he gets caught along the cliff physics, falls to tg.

With the death of Puma, Waduhek retreats from the rocks and the battle spills into I5, but Waduhek fall north and are not chased so they revert south once again.
Crossfire begins at long rock, a location idc has prevailed at several times already, and to avoid further staling, tg runs through west-mid to flank. He doesn’t kill anyone, but he is successful in splitting up the enemy teams.
Knowing tg is in mid, Sov decides to take advantage of this by pushing west. He knows they’re down one and if he acts quickly enough he can take em out. For the first time during this championship match idc lose a battle.
15-minute score check 14-11 idc
Both squads regroup and execute their respective plans. Waduhek split into two groups while in mid and idc separate south in the rocks.
Waduhek head far southwest where they engage at C5 next to the idc base.

With a virtual no man’s land between them this fight becomes a battle of strafing. Knowing they can’t keep this up, Leak advances to the rocket and rock physics, which cripples Waduhek because their marines attempt to focus fire on Leak while also taking on streams from the enemy. This proves too much Puma who dies first.
idc completely skunk Waduhek by giving away no deaths during this battle.

With a sense of urgency Waduhek jump right back into battle at long rock. Perhaps overextending a bit, Iron and albert put themselves in range of idc’s north team.
Iron falls to a LAW snipe by Fausto; albert falls to tg seconds later.
Common sense dictates that a 7-on-5 favors the group of seven. Waduhek retreat from the rocks and lose Puma in the process. Rather than chase and engage by pig rock, idc stick to the rocks.
Circulating the rocks Waduhek are able to gain angles over idc. All of idc dies and almost get skunked themselves, but last man standing manu is able to take out Kevin.
Waduhek regroup and head into mid. They separate into two groups, one coming out west-mid and the other out of south-mid. They were able to catch idc a little off guard who were waiting by long rock.
25-minute score check 30-19 idc
idc lose Cage, but Waduhek lose Puma and Iron immediately after. Being two men down they decide to stay and fight, bad idea because they get cleared.
After regrouping, Waduhek return to the rocks where battle erupts once again. Kills go to both teams and Waduhek are able to bring the lead down to one battle.
With a minute left in the match the final battle takes place at D4. All idc would have to do is get one or two kills so Waduhek would have to get at least 10 to win. During this fire fight six members of idc converge upon Sol and Iron.
idc extend their lead to nine and seal the victory and the championship.
idc is victorious 44-32
