It’s time to go to war!

BBB begin by heading east in two groups. Water Manifest Destiny and Cesar head to south rocks via plateau and the rest go through the plus side building.

Waduhek send Iron, albert, killer and Sol into east-mid while the rest head south along the outside of the building.

The group inside mid surprise BBB member God as they come around the choke. He’s able to backpedal around the corner, which exposes him to the Waduhek group coming from the east. Before being killed God is able to draw first blood taking out Sol and Iron via LAW.

Waduhek regroup and head to northeast mid. Heading above to the alley, they’re spotted by envy and hack. Choosing their battles wisely, Waduhek bail out through east-mid.

The battle spilled into J4 in front of the hangar; Iron is the first to fall.

For some odd reason at east mid entrance Waduhek medic Jane stops moving. God notices this so he goes in for the kill giving Jane an ass-full of buckshot

BBB members Cesar, envy and Manifest Destiny hightail it out of mid and make it to the north building, but by then Waduhek already have them in their crosshair.

As battle continues to erupt into the school building BBB members find themselves sandwiched between Sov and albert. Thinking quickly, God is able to LAW the fusion corp crate and successfully kills Sov.

Being outnumbered, Puma and Jane decide school is out so they make a last ditch effort for the north-mid entrance. They find sanctuary in the t-shirt building where they’re able to group up with the respawners.

The shoe is on the other foot so BBB retreat through the north alley, which turns them into fish in a barrel.

Here come the LAWs; Water is taken down by Sol.

At this point of the match it becomes a game of Minesweeper without hints. Bath teams scour the map looking the enemy, but no red dots can be found and on several occasions miss each other by a few seconds.

10-Minute Score – 18-7 BBB

After seven minutes of combing the desert we finally have a battle at F6 long rock. It comes out in favor of Waduhek because they give enough kills to put them down by only one battle. They retreat from the rocks as to not deal with BBB respawners and make their way through east-mid.

BBB head north along the west side of mid and end up at an empty school building then return south to the rocks.

Waduhek end up at the school building where BBB just were.

After several minutes of no fighting there is an enemy sighting at the plus sign building. With Waduhek having the northern angle, BBB retreat into the south rocks where they get the best of their enemy.

20-Minute Score – 23-13 BBB

Forcing BBB to play their way, Waduhek retreat north to the schoolhouse where they’re able to pick off BBB.

Regrouping, BBB head straight into south rocks, but are aware that Waduhek are behind them coming from their base.  Manifest Destiny is caught completely off guard and quickly pays for it.

The next battle happens in less than a minute when both squads have the same idea to run north to the alleyway.  BBB fall back south to avoid becoming sitting ducks for enemy LAWs.

The fight makes its way to C3 where medic envy falls first. Luckily the BBB base isn’t far away so Water won’t have to tend to six squad mates himself for very long.

With three minutes left in the game Waduhek are able to take the lead by two kills so what do they do? Run the other way. It’s not a big lead and three minutes is more than enough time to stumble or be caught in a bad position.

Waduhek take the wide position and head east from above schoolhouse, but BBB is coming directly below them from the alley.

Enemy sited! BBB need to act quick as the clock will run out fast, but as for Waduhek, it couldn’t be slower.

Waduhek make the right choice by disengaging from battle at the alley. Realizing they were spotted too soon, they leave to create better positioning. They head southeast toward pig rock.

During their escape hack is able to LAW snipe Sol, which brings BBB one kill from tying the game. BBB continues to push down east pig rock and Waduhek responds by falling even more south. It would seem BBB forgot that Sol respawned and is on his way back.

The BBB survivors run west to save deaths and group with their respawners, but killer has another idea. A perfectly timed LAW blows Manifest Destiny to smithereens!

With 40 seconds left Waduhek are able to increase their lead by one battle.

With the clock dwindling BBB go YOLO mode and bum rush the enemy unsuccessfully.

Iron draws last blood on Cesar.

Waduhek is victorious!

RANKS

First – Kevin 10-5

Post Match Interviews

To expedite the process I’ll just post all my questions at once and follow it up with their response.

ZEUS

Abbath – The match started out pretty good for BBB. First couple of battles went in your favor and BBB did a great job of burning the clock. What was the main objective during your extreme swipe of the map?

During the second half of the match the tide changed drastically. Waduhek was able to catch up and surpass BBB. Did you guys become over-confident?

With only a few minutes in the game you guys were done by two deaths. What’s the thought process on securing a victory under these conditions?

Once Waduhek had more kills BBB got noticeably sloppy. There were a bunch of bad deaths in the closing moments. What happen?

What does BBB plan to do next week?

Zeus – The match started out pretty good for BBB. First couple of battles went in your favor and BBB did a great job of burning the clock. What was the main objective during your extreme swipe of the map? Honestly we weren’t trying to burn the clock, we were literally searching for them the entire time.

During the second half of the match the tide changed drastically. Waduhek was able to catch up and surpass BBB. Did you guys become over-confident? Nah we got extremely sloppy, we had players getting caught out of position and sov capitalized on it.

With only a few minutes in the game you guys were done by two deaths. What’s the thought process on securing a victory under these conditions? Slow methodical pressure, stay calm and seize the advantage provided which we had at east pig rock, but some players were not on board with the push when we knew they had respawn coming behind us.

Once Waduhek had more kills BBB got noticeably sloppy. There were a bunch of bad deaths in the closing moments. What happen? At that point I can say me and easoe literally charged just to charge the outcome wasn’t going to change.

What does BBB plan to do next week? trim the fat, we used this week as an experiment so see where things stood. Knowing full well we’d play waduhek regardless and most likely on EC again, so we’ll see if we can tighten a few things up.

Abbath – Sorry I worded that wrong.

Waduhek believed you guys could have been camping because Kevin asked about a camp timer in the capt chat.

Zeus – That never bothered us, we figured we were running circles around each other. We didn’t have to respond at all as champ responded immediately

SOV

Abbath – Hope you dont mind answering a few questions for my match report..

The beginning of this match was pretty grim for Waduhek. The first couple of battles did not go in your favor.
What’s going through your mind when you’re down that many kills and minutes go by without a fight?

What adjustments did you make that allowed you guys to come back from that deficit?

What are your thoughts on playoffs?

Sov – I’ll give two answers because people will get offended.

Q1:
Some people think it’s bad to dwell on what went wrong on the battle and just move on to the next. I just try to identify what went wrong and make sure people understand what they should do better next time so repeating those same errors do not occur in the match. You have a ton of time to make a come back. Other squads suck at utilizing team while I try to make the best out of it instead of hiding for 30mins pretending I’m ahead of the other squad. All it takes is a few clean battles and you can easily change the situation.

These guys are my former squaddies except none of those players are the S tier players on that squad. They have no real carry. They are honestly shit compared to the great players. I honestly knew the game was over once Sol logged on. I felt bad for them so I decided to place my players in disadvantageous places, so they have a handicap. I got to keep their morale up before I decided to stomp on it. Time was never an issue. They have some of the biggest playoff chokers on that squad. There best player literally lost me a playoff game because he couldn’t fight apollo 1v1 and spec’d himself from that humiliation.

Q2:
There wasn’t any real adjustment honestly. Looking at the video, our active core played really bad for some reason. They were hesitant and scared. The only real difference was they became more confident as they got more battles in. Our meds didn’t play that well and eventually stopped giving them free kills when BBB usually had worse positioning. We eventually had no easy kill while BBB had a few players that made it easier to win the game off of.

I stacked the teams with sol/sov/iron/kevin and essentially 4v8 that squad. Eric said kevin was never good but now I know what yosh meant when he said trim the meat and was pointing at eric. Yikes. Eric is awful and not a good shot caller. He calls sol a playoff choker when sol boots up windows 95 every time he’s against eric.

Q3:
I would rather play IDC or apoc honestly. We played well against IDC without sol and they for some reason play really bad as the most active squad. I still don’t understand why they camp against any squad when their core is active. They pretty much give up that advantage and slow down the pace allowing players to get more comfortable as Sunday only players. I think dave made that squad worse by picking up players that don’t mesh with their chemistry. Apoc pretty much should slow the game down and stop having this weird delusion that everyone camps against them. They should honestly camp if they really want to win it all. It allows them to control their shittier player and forces IDC to push (l o l). I don’t mind facing apoc either because it’s just about playing around noskeeper.

We shat on BBB so we will play idc with champ playing for them as champ will have a boner to try to take me down with his best chance possible. I will respond “who wants a piece of the champ?”. Champ will get mad and claim that he has that rightful title. Champ hasn’t won a ring without sov since… shit back on SOE. First battle I shit on champ and tell him “Imagine if i had a real weapon!”. Sov gets disconnected. Everyone realizes champ has been the shadow puppet all along. We lynch champ as the town doesn’t have down syndromes in lemon being involved in the decision making. Champ shuts down the website and we move on to kobrazone.com. The end.
P.S. This was copy/pasted by someone else not named sov.. or maybe it was :^)
