After the game i was able to ask Mad a couple questions before he left:

Abbath: What do you think of Smurfs playing with 7?

Mad: It’s not my fault they came unprepared. But it didn’t mean we were gonna take it lightly, we played as a team.

Abbath: And of your MvP?

Mad: My Mvp? Well deserved, I had the most kills, it feels great.

Abbath: Well congrats on your victory.

Mad: Thank you.

little over half hour after the game i was able to talk to BDS’s fearless leader Seifer.

Abbath: Seif mind if I have a minute?

Seifer: Sure thingy.

Abbath: What did you think when you heard Smurfs were playing with 7?

Seifer:Well to be honest, Smurfs have been downhill for the last few weeks and it seems as if their captains haven’t really been caring that they are going down either. Before the match started I figured it wouldn’t be that great without Angelus showing, and when I found out they were playing 7; it was just a question of whether or not it was 4 or 5 minutes. We were actually thinking about milking it, but we decided against it.

Abbath: If Smurfs showed 10 do you think victory would have came so fast?

Seifer: I’d imagine if they ahd shown 10 it would have been a 20 minute game or so. Without Angelus, they just aren’t the same. I had high hopes for Smurfs, but ever since their inactivity and lack of interest from captains, I just don’t have much faith in them anymore. I never underestimate my opponents, but I really didn’t feel cause to worry too much tonight.

Abbath: If you had to give 1 tip to the captains of Smurfs what would it be?

Seifer: Well they really need to get a captain that wants to make the squad succeed. At the beginning of the season they claimed their squad was strictly for fun, yet it was very apparent that they were victory-hungry just like the rest of the squads by the way they conducted themselves. Ever since they had some inactivity from some key members, they completely lost that edge. That edge was what made them a threat and now they’ve lost it. They need to get that edge back and begin restoring the destroyed morale of their team. Angelus being inactive and the striker’s not being around really didn’t help, but they need to get their act in gear and motivate their team because they obviously want to win, but they simply don’t want it anymore. Saying their team is just for fun now is nothing mroe than an excuse. The squad was for competition and the captains have let the team slip because their lack of interest. They need it back. If they aren’t willing to do it, they need to find someone who will.
