Well ladies and gentlemen. Today I had the pleasu…no that’s not right. Today I was pressured into reporting on the WD vs CS match. What a great, and slightly repetitive match it was. So without wasting any further time lets jump right into the report. 

Game 1

WD lineup : Holy hand grenade of Antioch, iii, Jeffro147, Johnny Shrapnel, killbybomb, killer2540, spook~, xTREMExMEASUREx

CS lineup : ae-, AO, Arcades, Beaver, Caligstar, khaos, n0one, Vedic Strife

At the beginning of the match, WD flagged F3 and headed south to G5. On the opposite side of the map CS quickly made it’s way to G5 as well. From this point on all big points in the game will be accompanied by an approximate time it happened in game according to the game timer. 

29:00 –WD and CS meet at G5. A firefight ensues and I quickly scribble notes on some computer paper.

28:30 –WD starts to pull back from G5 and creeps into the F4 area.

27:40 –WD continues it’s retreat and gets pushed into the E3 bottleneck.

27:00 –After receiving reinforcements, WD pushes back into F4.

26:40 –Chaos broke out around the G4 flag building. Lotsa bullets. End result, WD dead all over. At this point in the game it looked grim for WD and spec was convinced CS had it in the bag.

26:30 –WD regroups at F3.

25:00 –AO lags out. WD and CS meet at G4. CS falls back to I4 to regroup.

24:10 –WD and CS once again meet in the G4-H4 area. More shooting. Yay.

23:43 –WD pushes through the CS flank at G3. CS and WD continue to fight around the G4 flag building for the next 3 minutes.

* Coolest part of game is next *

20:48 –Holy and Arcades meet alone inside of the G4 building. A close range ripper duel commences. Winner = Arcades

20:30 –CS slowly inches it’s way North from F5, getting closer and closer to WD who are standing their ground at F4.

18:12 –CS flanks over the top of the G4 building only to be repelled by WD. 

* At about this time I realized my notes on this game sucked *

17:20 –WD pushes south into CS. Beaver dies. CS turns tail and runs off to I4 to regroup.

16:30 –AO finally bites it. CS is now down 1. 

15:30 –CS realizes that if you touch flags, they turn different colors. WD comes close to flagging the game. 

15:00-12:50 –I go to the bathroom cause I just can’t hold it anymore. When I return, CS are being run over by WD.

12:30 – WD flags the game and gets the win.

Game 2

WD lineup : Same as game 1

CS lineup : Replaced Caligstar and Vedic Strife with GrandRoyal and Redlight

CS runs south ignoring flags while WD grabs J4 on their way to meet CS.

29:00 –WD and CS once again meet below the G4 building and start shooting. CS pushes and WD falls back.

28:15 –Fighting resumes at I4.

27:30 –Holy + 2 hand nades = death

26:40 –WD regroup proceed to get shot at again.

25:25 –The beginning of the end. WD loses a medic. WD fall back from J3

25:00-23:40 –Shooting back and forth. Couple deaths. Kinda boring to watch.

23:40 –Holy is out.

23:20 –Jeffro is out. 2 more WD die from CS flank at K2.

21:30 – CS gang up on killer and iii in front of WD DS. Killer > n0one. iii and killer lose the fight. Killer is out.

21:00-19:40 –CS run in circles for awhile looking for the remaining WD which are holding the tunnels at K2.

19:30 – CS breaks through the tunnels at K2 from both sides both WD holding die. CS grabs the flag for the win.

Team kill/death : 23-6 in favor of CS

Game 3

WD lineup : Genuine Virtue in for killer2540. Gen replaced holy as WD ripper.

CS lineup : Same as game 2

The best part of game 3 was undeniably the Ucross bashing that erupted in spec before the game began. Other then that, game 3 was strikingly similar to the other 2 games. WD flags F3 and the start, then heads for … G4 ! How surprising. CS mixes it up by actually flagging J4 on the way to G4.

29:30 –Both teams pick a tree clump and settle in. I’m sure they had to have seen each other entering the trees but neither team attacked.

28:55 –CS fires the first shot by launching a LAW at the WD forest. A firefight ensues.

28:10 –AO gives a repeat performance of his bad lag. Specced back in with 1 life. WD push forward and CS runs off.

26:40 –CS regroups at I4 while WD run around in the north looking for the enemy.

25:45 –Both teams return to the G4 area and begin shooting at each other again. WD tries a flank from inside the G4 building and fail.

24:30 –Lotta shooting. AO and GrandRoyal both go out. It’s now 8 to 6 in favor of WD. CS runs off to regroup. WD starts to flag.

21:40 –WD head to the J4 flag only to find CS regrouping at I3. More shooting.

20:35 –WD break into the J4 area after Genuine Virtue kills a bunch of CS.

20:15 –WD flag J4 and start the flag timer.

20:00 –CS abort by grabbing the K2 flag. Remaining CS hold the K2 tunnels.

19:30 –WD start the attack from both sides. Neither squad is doing any damage.

18:10 –Turtle timer is implemented. CS becomes distracted by the green text and new clock box. WD takes those precious seconds to barge in and eliminate CS. WD grabs the flag for the win.

Team kill/death : 21-11 in favor of WD
