The game started off with FiN@L~F@tE (FF) going North out of the dropship, while Center Stage (CS) went south. FF flagged the H1 building, while Center Stage went right on past the H5 flag and straight to J3, where they flagged and went North. They left behind AO and N0oNe, and Mr.Clean of FF was behind a rock under the J3 base. The rest of FF was in Midbase already, and Mr.Clean made a move. N0oNe and AO pounced on him, while a battle commenced at I2. To everyone’s surprise, FiN@L~F@tE pushed Center Stage back towards J2, winning the battle. They knocked out the key players and cleaned up the rest. The dead CS members regrouped in the F2 trees, while FF took J3 and went back up North to H1.

Center Stage headed up North as well, and there the two teams clashed again. Center Stage had the upper hand in the first part of the battle, surrounding FF and killing a few. Somehow, though, FF regained control of the battle, and CS fell into Midbase. FF did what every squad does when the other is in mid: flank around to the south. The Three there fought hard, but were wiped out by Center Stage defenses who made their way through the G2 canyon to flank FF. Phony of CS was killed, and was the first out of the game. FF regrouped at J3, while the victorious Center Stage flagged the midbase. FF went to the midbase through the North entrance, while Center Stage headed back to J3 out the South of mid. FF set up shop in mid, while Center Stage made their way quietly around North to flag F2. They attempted to hide at H2, but soon bullets were flying from the North Entrance of Mid. One of the first follies of this battle, and probably the turning point of the game, was Mr.Clean’s death, forcing him out into spec. A few stray FF at F2 were surrounded and demolished, while the rest fled south. CS flagged mid again, and went to J3 out the North exit.

FiN@L~F@tE made their way back into midbase carefully, while Center Stage caught wind of FF’s movements and headed back to mid. They had a good flank around the midbase, and fought hard on both sides. The battle was definetly in Center Stage’s Favor, losing Beaver into spec mode, but taking out 88. The Center Stage at the North Entrance shifted to the south entrance around G3, luring FF out of midbase, and allowing those South to break in. This was the end of the match, as CS surrounded and crushed FF, Knocking out 3v0, Nobby, urmig, and AngelFire*, and wasting no time, they took the flags of mid for a Win by flag.

This was an amazing game, where FiN@L~F@tE showed just what they were known for, amazing strategies that win games.

FiN@L~F@tE went North out of the Titan Dropship, while 3v0, Disapear, and steve~o went south to H5. 88 flagged H1, while the south team flagged it. Center Stage also went South, flagging J3 as they went. The Rest of FiN@L~F@tE flagged mid, and quickly rushed to the aid of their comrades south. The three players were under heavy fire in the south base, and Center Stage was completely ignoring their rear, where 88 snuck up and grabbed the J3 flag to set off the victory timer. Center Stage made a mad rush for the H2 flag, but thanks to Mr.Clean’s Grenadier skills, none made it. They sensed the urgency of the situation, and kicked up their adrenaline and playing style to a higher level, giving them just enough time to set off the 20 second victory timer, and win the game in one of the best flagging strategies I have ever seen.

Final Score:

This game proved that Center Stage is flag saavy, and that FiN@L~F@tE could not beat them with intricate strategies every time.

FiN@L~F@tE went North out of the Dropship, while Center Stage went south. FF set up an Ambush along the J3 field, putting 88, urmig, dean of the North, and 3v0 in the I2 trees bordering the field, and Mr.Clean, Disapear, AngelFire* and Dinsdale in trees on the other side of it. Center Stage went up to J3, where the ambush was set, but did not get in range for FF to attack. In a last Desperate measure to provoke CS, 88 fired off a round, but to no avail. FiN@L~F@tE’s plan failed, and they moved out to H1 and H2.

At the same time, Center Stage went the long way around F3 and up North. They gathered in mid and flagged, and saw FiN@L~F@tE up in H1. They attacked, and with a series of flanks and killings, managed to push FF to the East, back to J2. They took advantage of FF’s bad position, flagging H1 and setting off the victory timer and demolishing FF at the same time. They won the game by flags.

Final Score:

The game started with Center Stage going South, and FiN@L~F@tE repeating almost the exact strategy as game two, sending AngelFire* with the south team this time. Center Stage went up North, and into H1, while FiN@L~F@te went to J3. This is the point where things got rough for FiN@L~F@te, wher AngelFire* Disconnected, and they had to sub in Dean of the North. Center Stage was making good use of their time flagging, and they had set off the victory timer, with Mr.Clean barely getting an abort at H1. A battle ensued at MidBase, and it was a very long battle. Dean of the North was killed and specced out, and Center Stage fought a hard battle in mid. A small flank group for CS made it’s way up North, but was ravaged by FiN@L~F@tE members. CS managed to push out south of midbase. There was a battle there, and Mr.Clean went off to flag. The battle moved to J3, where Center Stage showed it’s supremacy in Open field fighting. FiN@L~F@tE died out quickly, and CS went back South.

FF regrouped at F3, while Center Stage quickly made their way up, smelling victory all the way. There was a battle there, stretching from F2 to G1, and FiN@L~F@tE, after a valiant Battle, was scattered and killed, but not without taking out Khaos. Nobby, Disapear, 88, urmig and Mr.Clean died out, leaving steve~o and 3v0 to flag by themselves. They were not quick enough to the flags, however, and Center Stage set off the victory timer and won the game, and the Match.

Final Game Score:

Center Stage Wins
By Flag
20-12 CS
MVP: Redlight

Final Match Score:

Center Stage Wins
3-1

55-32 Center Stage

Good Game for Both Teams. Center Stage advances to the Semi-Finals, while FiN@L~F@tE is knocked out of the playoffs. The next playoff round looks like this:

The Alliance vs. Center Stage

WarDogs vs. Intrinsic

It’s sure to be a great weekend, be sure to be there!
